Your information, clearly explained.
What this pilot stores
TipTap stores worker profile and account details, hashed passwords, session records, payment references, and tip records. Public tip pages show the profile and payment handles that you enable.
Card and bank details
Stripe-hosted checkout and onboarding collect card, identity, and bank details. TipTap does not ask for or store your full card or bank-account numbers.
Images and access
Published profile images are public. Receipt images require the owner’s authenticated session. TipTap does not use advertising trackers or sell account data.
Deleting your account
In Profile, choose Delete account and confirm your password. You can also use the website’s /delete-account page without installing the app. This permanently deletes your TipTap account, profile, tip history, payment handles, provider links and image records, revokes all sessions and disables your managed cards. Image files are removed immediately when possible; any failed file removal is queued for retry by the operator. Export your history before deletion. Your separately held Stripe or payment-app accounts and their records are governed by those providers. A payment already started with a provider may still complete.
Devices, backups and contact
The iPhone app uses the system photo picker only for images you choose to upload. It does not request contacts, location, tracking or full photo-library access. TipTap does not retain a copy of a deleted account in its active database. Hosting logs and backup retention are managed by the operator; contact the support address below for deletion questions and the deployed backup schedule.
Cookies and service providers
A necessary session cookie keeps website workers signed in. The iPhone app stores its revocable login token in Apple Keychain and does not include server secret keys. The app uses the configured host/database, Stripe for card processing, and Resend if password-reset email is enabled. External payment apps have their own privacy terms.
